We designed a home in a quiet newly developed residential area called ‘El Retiro’ in the Churriana neighborhood, to the west of the city of Málaga. In this rectangular-shaped residence, family life revolves around an interior courtyard covered by a glass skylight that provides illumination and character to the entire building. The ground floor includes a living-dining room, a kitchen, a guest toilet, and a study. These spaces have a visual connection to the south-facing terrace and the pool. On the first floor, an open gallery around the courtyard organizes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a laundry room. The house also features a basement garage and a spacious rooftop terrace with views of a lovely urban park.
